Lantana ‘New Gold’
Lantana
OVERVIEW
‘New Gold’ Lantana is more like a groundcover than a bushy shrub. New Gold grows in a spreading/mounding pattern creating a dense, compact accent plant for any landscape. This variety of lantana will reach a height of 24-36 inches and can spread as wide as 6 feet. New Gold Lantana is sterile, meaning it does not produce seeds. Because its energy is not devoted to reproduction, it tends to be more floriferous than other lantanas, with showy bright yellow to gold flowers, blooming almost year-round. Be sure to cover in the coldest parts of the winter.
